 Westview Private Day Nursery is a family run nursery offering full time day care within a spacious 18th century house, we are located in the village of Middleton St George on the outskirts of Darlington. We provide quality care with a homely atmosphere, all our rooms are spacious with small groups of children benefiting from a high standard of care, and all the children are cared for in a safe environment that is happy, loving and caring where children can learn through child initiated play. Our staff are highly qualified, motivated enthusiastic and fun people, they are like minded people with the same goal...to provide a high standard of care for your children and alongside our staff we provide training for students who wish to join the profession of child care. We also have a wonderful cook, she cooks everything from fresh! All our meals and snacks are home cooked and healthy, all dietary needs can be catered for. All children and parents receive a warm welcome with our friendly staff on hand to meet and greet you on a morning when you drop off your child and to communicate further on an evening when you collect your child. Each child is allocated a key worker, who is responsible for the pastoral care of your child and liaising with you the parents, as well as observations monitoring and evaluating their progress from which they plan individual learning opportunities. We work in partnership with all parents and communicate with you in the most convenient manner suitable to you; home school liaison diaries, daily slips telephone or email, as well as news letters and open days. Although parents are welcome to come into nursery at any time to view their child's work and discuss any issues or queries with any of our team. We strive to meet the needs of all our children and families, and if you have any specific needs just ask as we can probably accommodate you, or we will do our best to support you and your children. |
